Astronomy 110 Quality Matters Recognized

Congratulations to Nancy Chanover for designing her ASTR 110 Introduction to Astronomy course to meet Quality Matters expectations.  Quality Matters is a faculty driven, peer review process that is collaborative, collegial, continuous, and centered on student learning informed by current research.  To get a course recognized nationally, a formal peer review team consisting of three QM certified peer reviewers, one of whom is external from NMSU, reviews the course using the Quality Matters rubric. Dr. Chanover’s course has successfully met QM standards and has now received national QM recognition.
